Privacy Policy

Who this policy covers

Gato Data helps businesses assess and arrange licensing opportunities for operational data used in machine learning, evaluation, and simulated training environments. This policy describes this website’s current handling of information and the proposed approach for later advisory engagements. References to future services do not mean those services or data transfers are already active.

Business records supplied under a future engagement may require a separate confidentiality agreement, data-processing agreement, license, and notices to affected people. This policy does not itself authorize collection or training use of those records. Contractual arrangements do not remove anyone’s rights under applicable privacy law.

Information in your assessment draft

The assessment asks for your name, work email, company, role, current full-time employee count, industry, business location, and years of usable data. You may also describe the systems you use and your licensing goals. Keep descriptions general; do not include customer or employee details, credentials, confidential documents, or regulated records.

In this preview, entries stay in the open page’s memory. Preparing a draft does not send an inquiry, request an estimate, or transmit the entries to Gato Data or a training lab. The application does not save them in a database, cookies, or browser local storage. Leaving or reloading the page clears the application’s draft state; your browser may separately provide autofill or page restoration.

Downloading a draft creates a text file on your device. You decide where to keep it, whether to share it, and when to delete it. Gato Data cannot access or delete your downloaded copy through this website.

The homepage calculator runs in your browser using employee count and years of usable data. Following its assessment link carries just those two selections in the URL fragment, the part after the # character. The application does not send that fragment to the server. It can remain in your browser history or a copied link and can refill those two fields after a reload. Contact details and other draft entries are not placed in the URL.

Technical information and cookies

Serving a page involves ordinary connection information, such as the requested URL, network address, browser information, request time, and diagnostic errors. The server running this preview may process that information to deliver pages and troubleshoot problems. Assessment entries are not included in those requests by the application.

The current site has no advertising pixels, analytics service, tracking cookies, or third-party marketing forms. Fonts and graphics are served with the website. The application does not track activity across other websites or sell or share visitor information for behavioral advertising. Browser extensions and your browser’s own services operate separately.

Information for a future engagement

If you later contact us through an authorized channel or engage us under a written agreement, we may need business contact details, correspondence, evidence of your authority, descriptions of available records, licensing restrictions, and commercial information. We would obtain this information from you, an authorized representative, or relevant public business sources, and explain the applicable collection practices before they begin.

The intended purposes are to respond to requests, evaluate an opportunity, prepare a brief, coordinate approved introductions, negotiate commercial terms, administer an engagement, keep required business records, and address security or legal issues. Optional marketing would require its own appropriate notice and choices; preparing a local draft does not subscribe you to marketing.

Where European or UK data-protection law applies, the appropriate basis must be identified for each activity: steps toward a contract with the individual, a legal obligation, consent where needed, or legitimate business interests balanced against the individual’s rights. Consent may be withdrawn for future processing without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Who may receive information

No assessment entries are shared by the current preview. For a future engagement, an approved business brief may be shared with the specific training labs, data-license intermediaries, or technical specialists authorized for that opportunity. The scope, recipients, purpose, and any restrictions must be established before disclosure. Approval by a business representative does not replace required notices, permissions, or other legal grounds concerning individuals.

Service providers supporting an authorized engagement may handle information for functions such as hosting, business communications, document management, security, or accounting, under suitable confidentiality and use restrictions. We may also need to disclose information to professional advisers, in response to a valid legal requirement, or to protect legal rights. Any business transfer involving personal information would require appropriate safeguards and notice where applicable.

A lab or intermediary may act independently under its own privacy notice and signed agreement. Naming or discussing a potential recipient does not automatically authorize disclosure or establish a partnership. Before live collection, this policy must identify the actual service arrangements and relevant recipient categories.

Business records and AI training

Your website inquiry is not a training dataset. Neither visiting this site nor preparing a draft licenses business records or permits their use to train, evaluate, or improve a model or simulated environment.

A later data transaction must separately address ownership, confidentiality, personal information, permitted evaluation and training uses, excluded systems and records, approved recipients, onward transfers, security, retention, and deletion. Those terms also need to address derived datasets, simulations, model outputs, and trained models. Removing a raw archive does not by itself remove all derived material or model effects; the applicable agreement and law determine what must be removed or retained.

Masking names or transforming records is not an automatic assurance that information is anonymous or cannot identify a person or business. The treatment and residual risks must be assessed for the actual data and use. Records that cannot be handled lawfully within the agreed scope should be excluded.

Retention, safeguards, and location

The local draft lasts only in the page’s application state, and downloaded files remain under your control. Before collecting live inquiries, Gato Data must establish a retention schedule for inquiries, correspondence, contracts, and operational logs. Relevant factors include the purpose of collection, the status of an engagement, accounting and legal duties, and the need to resolve disputes. A partner’s advertised deletion period is not automatically Gato Data’s retention policy.

Future business-record transfers must use a separately agreed channel with safeguards appropriate to the information, including restricted access and agreed confidentiality and security responsibilities. No security measure eliminates every risk. Do not use the website draft to provide records or account access.

Processing locations and any cross-border transfer arrangements must be established before live processing. Where required, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and additional safeguards must be in place. This draft does not promise a particular hosting country or regional data residency.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can edit or discard a local draft and delete a downloaded copy without contacting Gato Data. Because this preview does not deliver the draft to us, we cannot retrieve a copy on your behalf.

Depending on your location, the information involved, and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of personal information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority. California residents may also have applicable rights to opt out of a sale or sharing of personal information, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and receive equal treatment when exercising rights. These rights may be subject to exceptions and proportionate identity verification; an authorized agent may act where the law permits.

The current website has no sale or advertising-sharing activity to opt out of and does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track. Before enabling practices that require privacy preference controls, Gato Data must implement the applicable opt-out mechanisms, including recognition of legally required preference signals such as Global Privacy Control. This preview does not claim those future workflows are already operational.

Children, changes, and contact

The service is intended for adult business representatives, not children. Do not provide information about children through the assessment. Any future proposal involving such records requires separate legal review and appropriate protections before any disclosure.

We will revise this policy as the service changes and display the revision date. Material changes to how personal information is used require appropriate notice and, where required, further permission before the new use begins.

The legal operator’s identity, business address, and monitored privacy contact have not yet been finalized for this preview. They must be added before live collection or finalizing this policy. This page does not provide a working request channel. If you already have an established business contact at Gato Data, you may use that existing channel for questions; do not send records through the draft builder.
